Luis Ricardo Armenta Gomez

Board Certified Behavior Analyst

¡Bienvenidos! My journey began when I immigrated to the United States as a child—navigating challenges, embracing growth, and building resilience along the way. I have taught incarcerated individuals, supported marginalized families through social services, and contributed to life-changing research. These experiences have given me a genuine understanding of the struggles many families face, especially low-income, immigrant, and minority communities. They have also shaped me into the Board Certified Behavior Analyst I am today. For me, this work is more than just a profession—it is a personal mission to bring hope, empowerment, and opportunity to those who need them most.

Danielle Gaumond

Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Hi, I’m Danielle, Board Certified Behavior Analyst here at Golden State Behavior. I grew up in Oregon and have called the Bay Area home for the past 12 years. My journey began in low-income schools, focusing on individualized, personal teaching for children who may not have access to all the resources they need. When I discovered the impact I could make through ABA for children from all backgrounds, I knew I had found a career I truly loved.

Golden State Behavior aligns perfectly with my passion for providing small, local support to marginalized communities. I feel incredibly fortunate to work with a team of dedicated professionals who are committed to helping local families—especially those who may not always have access to the services they deserve. On top of that, I have a degree in art, which allows me to bring creativity into my work every single day. Creativity and play are a vital part of what I do, and I cherish every moment!

Francisco Barragan

Senior Program Supervisor

Hello, my name is Francisco Javier Barragan, and I’m proud to be a Senior Program Supervisor at Golden State Behavior. My journey into Applied Behavior Analysis began unexpectedly. A college friend encouraged me to apply for a position at their workplace, and soon, I found myself stepping into a new path I hadn’t considered before. It was during my first experience with a young client – a bond that formed instantly – that I realized the profound impact this work could have. Watching this child grow and gain independence was inspiring and confirmed that I was on the right path. That experience sparked my passion, and I earned my master’s degree in ABA to continue this journey.

Jesus Medina-Sanchez

Junior Program Supervisor

Hi there! My name is Jesus Eduardo Medina-Sanchez, and I’m a Program Supervisor overseeing clients in Richmond and San Rafael. I joined the ABA field in 2021 as a Behavior Technician (BT), working with children aged 4 to 15. Witnessing their progress and hearing families express their gratitude and satisfaction has been incredibly rewarding and has kept me dedicated to this field. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish and am currently learning American Sign Language (ASL) to better connect with the children I serve. Outside of work, I stay active by going to the gym, exploring new foods, traveling, and spending quality time with friends and family. I also enjoy organizing events with Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Our Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) work one-on-one with your child using tailored interventions designed by our BCBAs. Through structed learning activities and playful interactions, RBTs collect data on your child’s progress, and support skill-building activities. RBTs complete a comprehensive training program, pass a competency assessment, and adhere to ethical guidelines established by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Additionally, they receive ongoing supervising from a BCBA to maintain consistent quality and effectiveness in their work.
